Lords Cricket Ground - A Brief History
Arguably the most famous landmark in St John’s Wood is Lord’s Cricket ground. Lord's Cricket Ground is a historic and iconic venue that is beloved by cricket fans around the world. Its rich history and tradition make it a must-visit destination for any cricket lover.
Lord's Cricket Ground was founded in 1814 by Thomas Lord, a professional cricketer and entrepreneur. The original location was in Dorset Square, but the ground moved to its current location in St. John's Wood in 1814. The first international cricket match at Lord's was played in 1884 between England and Australia.
Lord's has a seating capacity of around 28,000 and includes the famous Pavilion, which is a Grade II listed building and one of the most distinctive features of the ground. If you are asking “how do I pay for a private GP appointment” then rest assured there is no need to worry. Our invoices are fully integrated with all major payment providers, so you can use your visa, mastercard, american express, diners club or even international credit or debit cards. We also accept apple pay and google pay.
If paying with a credit or debit card is not your preferred option, we are also able to accept bank transfers.

We even dispense a number of common medications, such as antibiotics, at the time of your appointment to save you time and hassle.
With a private prescription. you will need to pay for your medication and the costs will vary according to the medication and the pharmacy you go to. Unlike the NHS, there is no fixed fee.
